ABOUT ME
My name is Philippa Reid. I live in Somerset, and have been quilling since I retired from full-time work in 2007. I am a fully Accredited (Higher Level) Fellow of the international Quilling Guild, which ranks me in its Masters category for competition purposes on the strength of the quality of my work.
My quilled artwork has won awards at the Quilling Guild's annual competitions (2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019), the Women's Institute (WI) Inter-Counties Craft competition 2011 and also Taunton Flower Show (popularly known as 'The Chelsea of the West') in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. In addition, one of my quilled collage pictures was among a small group of winning entries selected for exhibition in the CICCIC Arts Centre Contemporary Arts Competition 2017, which attracted submissions from artists throughout the UK.
As an enthusiastic member of the Quilling Guild committee here in the UK, I am committed to promoting the art of quilling online through social media and the Guild's websites. I am Editor of the Guild's magazine, Quillers Today, and also publish a blog exclusively for Quilling Guild members.

I love to quill, and I love to teach it too. As I quickly discovered for myself, quilling is enjoyable, creative and highly addictive! I'd welcome the opportunity to share it with you ...
