WORKSHOPS FOR GROUPS
My standard participatory Beginners' Workshop is designed to be an enjoyable hands-on 'taster' session for groups of up to ten people.
This basic workshop lasts two hours, and includes the following elements:
- An introduction to quilling and its history
- Examples of antique and contemporary quilling
- Basic techniques of paper coil making and creation of simple shapes
- The assembly of shapes to create a variety of quilled motifs.
Each participant has the opportunity to create a quilled flower, butterfly, snowflake or other simple motif which is used to decorate a gift tag or greetings card. The card or tag can be taken away with them at the end of the workshop.
The workshop is a relaxing, fun and sociable experience which usually leaves participants eager to try some more quilling in their own time.
The duration of the workshop can be tailored to your requirements, up to a whole day if you want!
I can also stage 'Make and Take' sessions at public events.
As an alternative to my standard Beginners' Workshop, I also offer group workshops for paper-bead making - please see my Gallery page.
The fee that I quote you for staging a group workshop will depend on your location and specific requirements, but prices for the basic two-hour workshop start at £65.00 per session for the whole group plus materials.
To request a quotation, please mail me at: [email protected]. Please include your telephone number so that I can call you back to discuss your requirements.
