WORKSHOPS FOR GROUPS
My standard Beginners' Workshop is designed to be an enjoyable 'taster' session for groups of up to ten people.
Each workshop lasts two hours, and includes the following elements:
- An introduction to quilling and its history
- Examples of antique and contemporary quilling
- Basic techniques of paper coil making and creation of simple shapes
- The assembly of shapes to create a variety of quilled motifs.
Each participant has the opportunity to create a quilled flower, butterfly, snowflake or other simple motif which is used to decorate a gift tag or greetings card. The card or tag can be taken away with them at the end of the workshop.
The workshop is a relaxing, fun and sociable experience which usually leaves participants eager to try some more quilling in their own time.
I can also stage 'Make and Take' sessions at public events.
NEW FOR 2015: As an alternative to my standard Beginners' Workshop, I also offer group workshops for paper-bead making - please see my Gallery page.
The fee that I quote you for staging a group workshop will depend on your location and specific requirements, but prices start at £50.00 per session plus materials.
To request a quotation, please mail me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your telephone number so that I can call you back to discuss your requirements.
